Office Hours:
Taos Vacation Rentals' office is open Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 4:30 PM.
Check-in time and procedures:
Check in is at 4 PM the day of your scheduled arrival. Upon your arrival in Taos, unless instructed otherwise, please stop by our
offices located at 526 Camino de la Placitas to pick
up your keys and a map to your property. Your
confirmation papers provide detailed directions to our
office and instructions for check-in procedures.
Convenient late check-in procedures are available for
guests arriving after-hours.
Checkout time and procedures:
Checkout is 10 AM the
day of your scheduled departure. Please return your
keys to our office in the drop box provided, unless
instructed otherwise.
Deposit:
A deposit of 50% of your total balance is
required in order to hold your reservation.
Cancellation:
In the event it becomes necessary that
you cancel your reservation with us, in order to avoid
forfeiture of your deposit, you must notify us of your
cancellation within the time frame set forth in your
confirmation papers. While the time frames stated in
your confirmation papers will determine the exact date
by which cancellation is due, the following time
frames are generally applicable. During Spring,
Summer and Fall, cancellation is due 30 days prior to
your scheduled arrival; during Winter, Ski Season and most
holidays, cancellation is due 45 days prior to your
scheduled arrival; at Christmas, cancellation is due
60 days prior to your scheduled arrival. A $25
non-refundable handling fee will be charged on all
cancellations.
Services:
Local telephone calls are free.
Long-distance calls must be placed using your calling
card or by reversing charges. We offer free fax
receipt. We can also make arrangements for special
needs, such as cribs, rollaway beds and many other
special needs you may have. Please ask us and we will
do our best to assist you.
Pets:
Pets are not allowed in any of our properties.
Smoking:
Smoking is not allowed in any of our
properties.
Additional Guests:
Please do not assume additional
guests are allowed. All properties have a maximum
number of guests permitted; guests in excess of those
included in your reservation may be subject to an
additional charge. Also, please note that our
properties are not intended to serve as facilities for
large parties or receptions and such activities are
not allowed.
Minimum Stay:
We have a two-night minimum stay at
most times of the year. During certain holiday
seasons, we have a three to seven-night minimum stay.
Extended Stay:
We can arrange for extended stays at
very good rates. Please ask one of our agents for
more information.
Accepted Forms of Payment:
We prefer your personal
check, but also accept American Express, MasterCard
and Visa.
Emergency Procedures:
In the event of emergency,
please call 575.758.5700. If the emergency occurs
after-hours, please follow the voice instructions
provided for emergency procedures. Please be aware
that after-hours emergency procedures are intended for
emergency purposes only and should be employed with
consideration only when absolutely necessary;
non-emergency requests will be addressed during our
regular office hours.
